Women Chairs of Orthopaedic Surgery

RJOS would like to acknowledge this talented group of women whose hard work, dedication, accomplishments, skills, abilities, and reputations have led to inspiring careers as orthopaedic surgeons and ascension to the top leadership role in their respective orthopaedic department.

Only a handful of women currently serve as chairs of orthopaedic departments - we hope this amazingly dynamic group will continue to inspire the next generation of female orthopaedics surgeons and leaders and further expand the representation and inclusion of women at all levels of orthopaedics and healthcare.

Please note this page is updated on an annual basis. If you are or know of a female Chair that is not included in this list, please email us.
